Oh hell yes. I've been hoping for this sequel for a LLLLOOOONNNNG time and having sat through Dumb and Dumberer without so much as even making a smirk I can only hope the wait is worth it.

I still laugh my ass off every time I watch Dumb and Dumber. Gotta love those characters, they are likable in such a unlikable way...its hard to describe.

anyway, bring it on

I HATE the Unrated cut, as it makes the movie way too serious, and gross.

I can't watch it anymore.

Let's see if they can really get Jim Carrey to do it.

I miss good old Jim!
I haven't seen the unrated cut - can you give me a few details of what's added? What makes it too serious and grosse??????

Yeah, I think he once said that doing the second "Ace Ventura" put him off sequels.

Can't believe this is finally happening. Im one who loved the original but hated the horribly unfunny prequel. I hope this one is in the spirit of the original

"OUR PET'S HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!!!!!!!!"

"That John Denver is full of shit man"

"Harry your hands are freezing"

It looks like Cam Neely has been approached to possibly return to the role of Sea Bass.

hopefully its a great script but i also kind of hope the Farrellys do a re-write of it, i dont really trust the guys that wrote Shes Out Of My League and Sex Drive to write a sequel to Dumb and Dumber, not that the movies those guys write are bad they are just very forgettable.

I'm sure the Farrellys will have a lot of input. I don't think that they'd make a sequel to their most beloved movie without a great script. Carrey And Daniels will probably do a lot of improvisation, too.

Morris and Anders also wrote Hot Tub Time Machine, which I thought was hilarious.

I feel good about this sequel. After all, it can't possibly be worse than the prequel.

Carrey pulls out of Dumber sequel

Quote:
Jim Carrey has reportedly pulled out of the planned sequel for Dumb and Dumber.

Three months after director Peter Farrelly confirmed that both Carrey and Jeff Daniels would reprise their iconic roles, ETOnline reports that Carrey has left the project.

According to sources, Carrey grew frustrated by New Line and Warner Brothers, who he felt showed a lack of enthusiasm regarding the project.

Carrey exclusively told ETOnline, "I would have thought Dumb and Dumber To was a no-brainer, after all it's implied in the title."

While the future of Dumb & Dumber To is now unknown. Carrey will return to the big screen next year. He is playing a magician in The Incredible Burt Wonderstone alongside Steve Carell, Olivia Wilde and Steve Buscemi.

Hopefully his next movie is good and that will spark more life and support for the project.
I didn't know the title was "Dumb & Dumber To" That is already a great start.
