i hope theres an proper steelbook or armany case with the original cover art. cuz i dont like the new ones.

the original cover art is iconic dammit! or make it like the platinum edition verison but the blu-ray case/

Too bad that the original 1930's version is only being included on DVD

I would love to have that on Blu-ray too. If FOX can release the original Day The Earth Stood Still on BR with the remake why can't universal? They missed a chance with Wolf Man and now Scarface

I got my fix with the AMC repeats, but what an awesome announcement! That UK set looks beautiful

Scarface has NEVER looked that pristine, even when it played in theatres... It always had a dingy, dirty sort of look to it. So I suspect there will be a lot of complaining that it doesn't look like it was "shot yesterday" when photos of the new remaster start to surface.

Still a decent film, not great but somewhat enjoyable.

This film has a very memorable line in it, One i have repeated to my wife over the years, mostly to no avail.

I have absolutely no interest in steelbook packaging, so I'll probably get the UK edition in a standard Blu-ray case.

the steelbook will last longer than plastic. cant imagine why anyone would want a crappy case when they know what kind of quality a steelbook is.

Well right off the bat you have the first two Godfather pictures. If you can argue that Scarface is better than either one of them i'd sure love to hear it.

After that i suppose it comes down to personal preference, but i prefer the following Pacino movies to Scarface.

Serpico (this one is borderline for me)

i also think scarface is his best movie..he creates a great memorable character and is so over the top!
he was very good in the godfather too though but more reserved and stuff..
carlitos way sucks...serpico is a downer of a movie.. the insider?

never seen glengary glen ross but is he the main charcater like in scarface?
never seen dog day afternoon...whats it about? a dog?

he's definitely a headliner, but not the main character. Even still, he delivers one of the most memorable chew-outs directed at Kevin Spacey. One of the best scenes ever.

easily his best role, by far. hands down.
