The Sandlot will be shown in select theaters in 4K at the end of June 2022.

So the image will be down-converted to 4K, as opposed to being shown in the original 35mm?

Of course, if that means they'll release a 4K UHD, then I'm all for that.

I'm debating between picking this up on regular Blu-ray or not. I really doubt this will ever see a 4k release from Disney. What do you guys think?

You need to pick this up on blu. Then we can burn you as an offering to the gods and the UHD will arrive.

Love to see release The Sandlot in 4K UHD as well. This one of my childhood favorite.

I just received the new DMC exclusive blu/dvd. The DVD is double sided, with the standard version on one side and widescreen on the other.

Looks like this is back on D+ in HDR10 now.

Damn this looks nice aside from streaming compression.
