Hey Moonphase, Just do what I do. I have a Facebook account for going on 2 years I think. There is almost nothing on my page, and I have 1 friend. Literally, I only use it for entering contests and stuff like this. Just make an account with the minimum required info. I think you can probably even do it with the PS3's browser.

Speaking of Facebook, do you have to do something in particular to link your facebook account with who you are here on Blu-ray.com?

I've been posting winners every three or four weeks. We have so many contests now, I've had to post announcements in chunks, as I find the time. I'll try to put together a list of recent contest winners in the next day or so

Just out of curiosity, have anyone outside the US/Canada ever won anything? I checked the previous contest winners and unless I'm blind there were no international winners at all. Yes, most users are American, but as these competitions are open for anyone I'd imagine some lucky guy from Kazakhstan or similar to win once in a while.

I believe only a few contests hav been international. But only to certain other countries not worldwide. but i see what you mean.

Are there more american members then international members?

I'd imagine there are?

Actually quite a few contests have been 'open for all users' which to me, means worldwide. I can count at least over 10 from those threads listed on the first page.

Quite a few winners have been international residents actually

Most recently, Bholst from Sweden picked up 'Kill the Irishman,' theonemacduff from Canada won 'The Adjustment Bureau,' and Geoff D from the UK received 'Jackass 3.5.' There have been others too (three of the July 5th MGM winners were from Canada). If a contest says open to all members, it's open to all members, regardless of the country they live in. When there's a restriction, I mention the specific countries that are eligible. (The only recent contest with a residency restriction was 'True Grit.')
