Good thing it wasn't a normal Blu-Ray case, I would most likely have received an envelope filled with small plastic pieces (case AND discs).

Too bad, I was really looking forward to seeing this, but I don't want to unwrap it since it has to be returned.

I'm waiting for the $18 and under price range. $19.99 is a bit much.

Maybe its just me, but I'd rather have it on release day than wait over a month, maybe longer for a simple $1.99.

Yes, this made me VERY happy. They've been waiting until the week of release, Mon or Tues, lately, to PM a lot of new releases, so a Friday is a very welcome surprise. Now I get in on release day and don't have to wait "until the last minute" to order it.

I never got around to seeing this movie in theaters but it looked quite interesting and well done. Is it worth a blind buy if I liked what I saw from the trailer. At $20 it seems like a safe blind buy for me but I would like others opinions on the film

I ordered this as well. Don't mind blind buying this. Never got a chance to see this in theaters. The review on here is good as well. My price tracker alerted me the moment it hit the $19.99 mark. Good thing I still have some left over credit on my Amazon account bringing the price down to $13.29. I am looking forward to seeing this on Tuesday together with my Scarface steelie.

One e-mai to amazonuk will have the replacement copy on the way to you without you having to return it. That's how friendly they are.

If your order from FS OR HMV online they have the steelbook. I believe Amazon.ca only carry the amaray version

The UK steelbooks does look great but the film for me was so/so

I felt the tone was uneven and not dark enough. The action scenes looked rushed and not fleshed out properly. I wish someone like Paul Greengrass or Martin Campbell had directed this would have been a better film imo.

PS I did like that long steady cam shot in Berlin. That was well done. Seems Wright has at least one of those in his films

Yeah--there are some movies I really want on release day and this is one of them. I have a few others on pre-order that I'm hoping will come down in price--and if they don't I'll probably cancel and wait until they do drop. But not this one, I would have got it at $25--so $19.99 makes me real happy!

Maybe... It is not a guarantee that Amazon doesn't want the damaged item back!

It would have cost my roughly €1.75 more to order it from Amazon UK. Not a lot, I know, but I have had a pretty good track record with Play and why pay more?

FutureShop's version was a steelbook today as well. It was a pleasant surprise. That and Scarface steels on the same day!

For anyone seeking the Best Buy BD/DVD flipper exclusive, the slipcover is EXACTLY the same as the standard edition's, save for a little peel-off sticker, which only refers to something about exclusive content and, as such, may mislead someone not reading the fine print to assume it merely has more bonus features than the DVD, not that it's a retailer exclusive. All previous BD/DVD flipper exclusives from Best Buy have emblazoned the presence of both formats in a fat banner across the top, but not this one.

EDIT: Okay, for more clarity, there is a green sticker on ALL editions that refers to exclusive bonus content (i.e. more than the DVD's); then, the basic BD has another orange sticker referencing the limited edition nature of the digital copy. Lastly, the Best Buy exclusive features a yellow sticker touting itself as an exclusive. Again, even the Best Buy exclusive just says "Blu-ray + Digital Copy" at the top of the slip.

I consider a $2 difference to be somewhat negligible. I understand that not everyone's comfortable with a $20+ price point on new releases. As with just about any release, prices will drop eventually if one waits long enough.
