I wanted to copy a thread which was started on a norwegian AVforum a while back. Calculating the amount spent on Blurays compared to your net annual income.
There are differences in wages/prices all over the world, and this would be the most common comparison I think. So you take the amount spent on Blurays each year, multiply with 100, and divide that on your net annual income to get the percentage of income spent on Blu's. so: If you make $40000 a year, and spend $5000 a year on movies that makes 5000x100/40000=12.5% of your income spent on Blurays Edit: No one will know how much $ you spend, or how much $ you make a year. And you dont have to post if you dont want to ofcourse ![]() Last edited by Shallow_; 07-09-2011 at 10:30 AM. |

can't be deadly certain but probably about 10-11% on the high side.
my entire yearly entertainment expenditure for this last year was about $5800 which is 16 % of my total yearly income... and that Includes ALL entertainment (monthly fees to netflix, new speakers, a new amp, movies that I bought for friends that they reimburse me for etc, other entertainment things).... so about 34 of that is actually movies or movies for me shall I say since I'm the guy who picks up movies at pawn shops and sales for my friends since I'm out and about and they pay me back..
