Same here. Hopefully it gets sorted out. Was looking forward to finally having this in my collection. And at a great price too.

Same here as well. Can't beat $4.99 so I will wait it out. I noticed more Miramax catalog re-releases on both Amazon and Best Buy are "sold out" or "currently available"... is there a production delay? I know some have shipped but a lot have not and before I cancelled my Amazon preorders (aside from Serendipity) yesterday, there was no estimated delivery date and the listings said they weren't available

FYI

I don't know if anyone else was dealing with the same issue, but even after Serendipity came back in stock amazon was telling me I wouldn't get it until late November. Even though it took a minute to get around the bot before getting an actual human to respond, I was able to speak with a customer service rep (via the online chat function) and they advised me to cancel the order and issued me a $10 credit so that I could get the film for the same price I ordered it at. It's supposed to arrive on Saturday for me!

How does the UK of Serendipity compare to the US release?

I recently saw Serendipity on the U.S. Blu-ray. Great film, and nice print. Never saw the film before, so don't know how the PQ holds up against previous releases - but it did look solid.

I'm not a big fan of romantic comedies/chick flicks, but this was a well-done film. As interesting as the story itself was the early 200X's NYC holiday setting - nice.

I think it was a mistake to remove the twin towers from one (or more?!) scenes in the movie - I know they were 'digitally erased' due to 9/11. However, they should have kept the towers in the film - this would have been a good reminder of how the iconic skyline of NYC looked like before the 9/11 attacks.
