I doubt I'll get that many Blu's this year. I think Captain America will be the only one. Unless I've got a few surprises in store. I don't like surprises.

I'll try and pick up Cowboys & Aliens and/or Futurama Volume Five on Boxing Day.

The only one I definitely know I'm getting is The Inbetweeners Movie. Everything else will be a surprise, but I'm sure I'll get a few Blus for Christmas this year.

+1

I don't think I'll be getting any Blu-ray's this year, as I've primarily just asked for money

I'm not getting many Blu-rays as presents this year, as far as I know. I just linked friends and family to my wishlists and asked to be surprised.

I have bought myself a few, as I do every year; this includes:

Meet the Robinsons
Captain America (Steelbook)
Boyz N The Hood
The Wild
Super 8 (Steelbook)
Rise of the Planet of the Apes (Steelbook)
TRON: Legacy (DMR exclusive)
A Christmas Carol (1984)
Days of Thunder
Love Actually
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Cowboys & Aliens (Steelbook)
Falling Down (Digibook)
The Green Mile (Digibook)

Some of them got wrapped, just for the hell of it. Some of them didn't.

In my case, parents wouldnt have a clue and it avoids the problem of me buying something they or someone else then buys, not knowing I have it,

Jurassic Park Limited Collectors Edition (sorry but I really do like the T Rex thing)
Britney Spears Femme Fatale Tour
Shakira Live in Paris
Super 8
Captain America

I've also given Meet Me in St Louis (import) as a gift.

People knew I would like films for Christmas - they just don't know which ones I don't have or don't like. I give them suggestions and they get them, rather than them potentially waste money by guessing.

In my case, my family did our Christmas celebrating two days early, because of other family obligations and stuff.
But, also, often our Christmas lists are so specific we have to pick out our own stuff... rare records, specific DVD editions from other countries... expertise is required! hehe
