Honestly i thought the movie was eye candy..looked really good in 3D not the usual "in your face" stuff just gave it more depth, but story wise it was ok.during the middle part of the movie it was hard to keep focused on it..i would not recomend this for kids even if it says PG as i feel they wont care for the characters

A little bit of research would serve people well, but I think the movie has so many striking similarities that it'll be "accused" of being like, or copying, Uncharted quite a bit.
Glad to hear my blind buy shouldn't go to waste.

Picked this up tonight as a blind buy. I hope it was good decision. I do love a good animated movie.

Lol, no, certainly not. Being similar to Uncharted is a very solid positive attribute.

Well since Uncharted was very similar to Tomb Raider which was pretty much female Indiana Jones, guess Steven Spielberg just brought it full circle.

Ugh. My local Best Buy made the 3D version a bit hard to find for me, but I was persistent and brought it home today. I checked out a few scenes and found it to be stunning! The 3D effect if pretty fantastic. I want to point out one scene in particular, but every scene I looked at was great. I just had to share my excitement.

Did anyone order from Amazon and have theirs arrive with the slipcover ripped off? The glue holding the one side of the cover is completely non-existent and it looks like it would have been noticeable to the warehouse employees rather than damage via shipping.

I'm not a slipcover guy but it's nice enough that it's annoying.

I bought my 2D version at Target and my slip was the same way, the glue holding one side of the slip is VERY weak. Looks like a manufacturing error.

I pressed it together with my fingers tightly and it managed to hold...for now.

I noticed the same thing too with several copies at Best Buy. I was able to find one without the issue fortunately. I'm kind of picky about these things and that is one advantage of buying from a B&M.

Watched it last night. That was a fun movie. Action, comedy, adventure.....solid 4/5

If it was 10 minutes shorter it would be close to 5/5

Something funny that I noticed in the special features:

Daniel Craig is not ONCE seen in his motion capture suit. Only in sit down interviews. I assume that being James Bond, he's contractually obligated to never be filmed in black spandex covered in dots.

To be fair, after watching the behind the scenes footage of A Christmas Carol, I totally get why actors would opt to not be shown in their goofy mo-cap suit. Bob Hoskins looked hilarious.

Not seeing Angelina Jolie wearing hers in the Beowulf extras, was such a disappointment.

Admittedly, one of the reasons I watched the special features was to see James Bond in a mo cap suit, was a little dissapointed.

Really good movie, it was a blind buy for me. It was like watching an animated Raiders of the Lost Ark, which is awesome. Can't wait till I'm able to watch it in 3D.
