Good news I suppose. The jury's still out on Cohen Media Group, but at least someone is interested in releasing this.

The article above mentions a restoration, but not the materials they'll use for it. I guess one can only wait and see.

My My, iTunes has almost every Hitchcock Films available in HD now...very tempted to purchase some of these but I can't bring myself to do it...need that physical media if I am going to be paying $17.99 you know. If you watch the trailer for Suspicion it gives you about a 2 minute clip in HD and it looks nice. Why won't Warner just release these all already.

I was hoping Warner would release all their Hitchcocks to coincide with Universal. Instead they licensed just one to Uni and released just 2 others. I fear we'll never see the rest on BD. A joint boxset would have been ideal, such a wasted opportunity.

I hope "The Wrong Man" gets a BD release. It's such a great movie. It's highly underrated.

List updated to include region free German edition of Lifeboat.

Also looks like some individual titles from the Masterpiece Collection are coming in May (at least in the U.K., Germany and Japan).

The Birds (50th Anniversary Edition) (Digibook for the U.S.?)
Rear Window
Saboteur
Family Plot

I would guess the U.S. will follow with announcements for these and then release some more in the next 2 quarters.
