![]() Sorry about the typo. I meant to say once you own an Oppo 93 it makes it hard to go back to another Blu-ray player. It's the only one I've found that makes upconverted DVDs look really close to Blu-ray. The chip they use for the upconversion is the best I've found so far. |

For anyone wondering what to do with those extra Sister Act DVDs:
Warner Brothers is having a kinda weird DVD2Blu "sale". [http://www.dvd2blu.com/?ref=EHEDVDBLU126]. They only have a limited selection of 102 titles, but you can trade in ANY DVD to get the reduced price (most $4.95, some $6.95, some TV seasons $14.95). The folks I talked to said they'd accept Sewing DVDs, Home Improvement DVDs, Digital Copy DVDs, "extra's" discs, whatever. They pay the postage for mailing the discs in and you get to keep the cases. Like I said, limited selection, but I found some things I hadn't upgraded yet. ![]() |

I think that it was sad for the 20th Anniversary that they didn't add anything new to the blu-ray but just had the previous special features. Not that I'm complaining, their nice extras but I just wish they would have maybe added some deleted scenes or maybe some brand new interviews or something on there in celebration of this release.

i just got done watching sister act 2 yesterday and i can honestly say that i don't notice the difference between sister act and sister act 2 on blu-ray they both seem about equally the same in terms of video quality. that is the way i see it anyway, i may be not looking at it right but from what i can tell it they look as close to perfect as their ever going to be.

I just watched both films and I forgot how uplifting they are - even, maybe especially, the kids one (Lauryn Hill & Ryan Toby rocked). I usually remember the first flick more fondly, it's definitely funnier - but the "kids" in the second show are … inspiring. Bill Duke should be proud. He usually plays such a bad-ass, but he obviously has a great big heart. Outnumbered about 10,000 to 2, these two hopeful inner city stories shine on anyway.
![]() I was really surprised by the quality - AQ & PQ - especially with both films being crammed onto one disc. ![]() |

I've seen both of these movies at least 100 times each. Used to watch them nearly every night with my sister.
Would love a new release with extras. |

Whoopi was incredible during this era. She was in so many fun movies, hosting Oscars, winning an Oscar, and hilarious. Loved both of these as a kid. I don't think I've seen them since the theater and then vhs or tv.
