Default Sorry folks but I rented Transformers

Today i rented tranformers but on the guys news i bought casino royal on bd.
According to Hi def digest and some Hd dvd fanboys Dolby Digital PLus is the same as True HD, all i have to say NO FUDGIN way. I finished watching the movie, an comparing to other action movies likes Tears of the Sun(PCM), Undeworld(PCM), and Hellboy(PCM) they put Dobly Digital PLus to shame. I have the Pioneer Elite 91txh with bose system speakers ( I know not the best speakers) but still with pcm or true hd makes a huge diff.

The reason why they say PCD doesn't matter is because they don't have it. Just yesturday I was battling with an HD DVD fanboy because he told me that the cheapest Dolby HD receiver was $900. He refused to believe the Onkyo 605 did Dolby HD. The just have their blinders on.

sounds like the hd fanboys are less educated about next gen hardware than blu ray folks.

Renting is what everyone on this forum should be doing instead of buying the DVD version, Paramount needs to feel the error of their actions

Talking with HD DVD fanboys about next generation hardware is like talking with a Scientologist about where we come from.

Hey I bought it...on DVD.

First DVD I've bought in a long time. Granted, I've bought 9 other Blu-Rays over the past week, so, what's one DVD. I just like the robot movie.

They are either completely ignorant or the dumbest people I know. I have quite the thread war going on at Amazon.com. Very entertaining. Not a single reply has posted again. Shooting them down like retarded ducks. I figure boards like Amazon get more exposure to consumers who are still deciding on a format; verse spinning my wheels at AVS Forum for hours. More impact when fighting off FUD.

Check out my thread HERE

Okay, this is getting pretty pathetic. Why the hell do you guys even need to be sorry for anything..? I know I'll be buying the DVD Special Edition later - does that really do anything? Is it really that bad? Is boycotting Paramount/Dreamworks really gonna help to the cause? Or is it really only you guys just losing missing out on decent movies?

I only said sorry because I know some of the hardcore's here will be furious. As I see it, a buy on DVD is still a hit AGAINST any HDDVD sales.
