Communication breakdown is correct. I think the XV15 will spank the legend tho. I listen to mostly rock music,it should excel at that.

Glad to see everyone enjoying their new subs. It looks like PSA makes a great sub and based on their history with SVS, im not surprised. If I were in the market for a new sub around $1000, I would most likely go with PSA. If I could only find some friends that needed new subs...

I'm gonna steal McDonald's slogan, and i'm Lovin' the XV15!! Just re-watched Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen, and i've got that ear-to-ear grin going For no particular reason i've decided to re-watch the transformers Blu's in reverse order... Guess in need to get myself a copy of War of the Worlds for another audio reference film.....

Cool picture.

They sure don't skimp on insulation.

Do you have pictures of the amp and driver? I saw them at
their shop but I am sure others would like to see them. Did you take it apart just out if curiosity?

That's funny. I watched the same stuff you did when I got my legend.. The scene at the top of the pyramid when the fallen uses magnetism to pull the tanks up and then drops them.. That must make you crap your pants..

Want to try another one that will pummel a subwoofer? Pick up Underworld Awakening. Not only is there some really low bass in that, but there's also Kate Beckinsale in black leather. How can you go wrong with that combo?

Not yet, but I will.

Tom V. sent me an XS15 so I could do a review on it. Part of that process entails disassembling the sub to see what it's made of, and how it looks on the inside. Tom already knew I was going to do that, so he sent me the picture in advance. Rest assured I'll have more of them once I finish my evaluation (I always save the disassembly for the end, just in case).

You are exactly right.. That movie has absolutely sick sound! Probably one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. The rears are very active..

When do you get the XS 15's ?

I'm not certain I completely understand what you're asking, but if the concern is whether or not Tom steered you in the right direction I wouldn't honestly be too worried. My dealings with him strongly indicate that he's a stand-up guy, so I highly doubt he didn't give you the best advice for your particular situation.

If my experience with the XS15 is any indication the XV15 is probably one heckuva good deal. At this point it might be time to just crack open a cold one, pop in a movie and enjoy you're new toy...

I was just wondering out loud what the XS15 sounds like. Tom builds these things,I have no worries on his recommendation. If anyone know's,he does.. But like anyone else, you always need to wonder, what if.. :P

Trust me, it will eclipse the Legend. With the plinth even the XS15 does, so I can only imagine what the XV15 looks like in person.

I've been in the market for a sub for a few months, shopping around, reading reviews, looking at more graphs than I did in an entire year of Geometry.

I listened to some subs today at Audio Etc., a local audio store, deciding on whether I wanted sealed or ported. I learned a few things today on what sub manufacturer's consider a small, medium, large room and their views on sealed and ported.

After I left Audio Etc, I spoke with Tom from PSA on the phone and had a few questions for him and a recommendation based on room size, flooring, listening preference for me which is 75/25 movies to music.

Customer support is top notch at PSA. Tom responded to my emails within minutes and spent time w me on the phone. He even offered to call me from his house if we didn't get a chance to talk during business hours. What other business would offer such a thing?

I purchased a XV-15 today. I can't wait. Tom even emailed me after I paid telling me my sub was leaving the QC department and being packaged for shipping and I could have it as soon as tomorrow. INCREDIBLE!

I got the same exact service. Makes you feel good about your purchase.. I had a similar experience with Epik and then they fell off the planet.. I'll have mine up and going in a little bit..

Ok guys, here's a few pics. This thing just makes the legend look like a toy. I have a feeling the SVS PB NSD12 is this big. Build quality is top notch and I think it looks much better in person. The thing is just a beast..I'm gonna listen to it in a bit.
