Gates McFadden was the most prominent victim and Andrew Probert one from behind-the-scenes (he was really struggling for canon continuity and credible, realistic science fiction. Did you know that the shuttlecraft in "Skin of Evil" was originally supposed to pierce through the rock before coming to a stop on the other side?). It was then a letter writing campaign that brought Gates McFadden back according to the fanzines, but that might have just been gossip. I didn't know of such campaign but wish there would have been one bringing Andy Probert back. It's a great thing Andy was enabled to participate for the bonus features of Season One and Mark and Robert would probably agree with me that this should have been one of the very first considerations for the bonus features... ![]() |

![]() Hey @MMSnodgrass...I DO NOT want you to LIVE-TWEET the Extended "Measure of a Man" tonight. It's simply not finished enough. #blameme @MMSnodgrass The Video looks AMAZING...but the audio simply isn't finished...so the experience won't be optimum. Best foot forward... ![]() Robert, in director mode, has decreed Measure not quite ready for prime time. So no live tweet tonight. |

I imagine it would've been similar to the commentary she's slated to record with the director and Mr. Okuda. Though, I suppose it's good to just save the first reactions until then (also with three people, there will hopefully be less dead spots and not a lot of narrating what's happening on screen, which a lot of commentaries fall prey to).

It was a very good setup though - the tree roots which jump and get you. That was a sufficiently creepy idea in an otherwise as-horrible-as-all-clip-shows-are clip show.

Even though I think season two was still suffering some growing pains, I think that the best of season two greatly outweighs the best of season one. Yes, there are some horrible season one level clunkers like "The Outrageous Okona" "Manhunt", "The Dauphin" and the horrible clip show "Shades of Gray" in year two, BUT...there is nothing as good in season one as episodes like "The Measure of a Man", "Q Who?" "The Emissary" "Peak Performance" "Elementary Dear Data" "A Matter of Honor" and "Pen Pals". I think there are some really classic rewatchable episodes in season two, way more so than season one. At least in my opinion.

Of course it was a post about the extended version of 'Measure of a Man' being readied, but it coincidentally also happened to be a concise summary of what had happened with the season one set.
Humor, anyone? |

Sainsburys Entertainment have the UK release date of Season 2 down as the 10th December.
http://www.sainsburysentertainment.c...duct=E11125630 They were the first site to list a release date for Season 1 and it was accurate so this might be also. |
