Any chance for an extended cut? I know the movie Christopher Nolan wanted to make was over 3 hours. Even though The Dark Knight Rises was awesome and already nearly 3 hours it definitely could use some fleshing out in areas if possible.

Christopher Nolan doesn't do extended cuts.

Do you think with the last installment out on Blu Ray this December, will see re-releases for other the Batman movies.

I sure hope so. I never picked them up, so hopefully we get remastered versions of each film (not that I would know if they actually need remastering). Except Batman & Robin... I can do without that.

he only really altered the prologue, the way Bane sounded in the rest of the film is mostly consistent with how he originally sounded. He originally sounded like that in the prologue also. Plus he would have had final say in any changes, so I think it is pretty safe to say he is fine with what we got in theaters and it is what he wanted us to hear.

What he wanted us to hear would've sounded like gibberish. Besides, at least he left "Crashing this plane!" unaltered.

This was too long as it is. Over two hours.

What more do we need? Bruce making breakfast?

You can't see how people would buy this movie alone? I don't know, could be because i own 3 versions of Begins on Blu-ray (2 steelbooks and the re-release that came out when TDK released) and 5 versions of TDK(all 3 best buy exclusives and 2 steelbook)? I don't need or care about a crappy cardboard box housing 3 standard editions.

Most people already own Begins/TDK, why would they want to double dip for the exact same version that's going to most likely end up like the MI box set, Spider-Man box set, Pirates box set etc. and just be a crappy cardboard slip case with the standard editions? makes no sense to me. Now if we got something major like the Avengers briefcase thing then i would defiantly buy it but if it's just standard editions then i, among many others won't care.

I really hope the U.S. gets a steelbook, I need a steelbook so it will match my other two steels for batman begins and the dark knight. I want to have the whole DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY in steelbooks

I'm going to wait for the trilogy. It's always better cost effective right?
