It may be that they don't know yet. They don't make discs for these releases, they use ones they've already got. Paramount have one-disc editions of both cut so either could be used and, to be honest, they could leave it right up until they're packing the steelbooks up to make up their mind. Maybe it'll just be based on which one they have the most surplus stock of.

Of course, sensibly, it would make sense to decide now and tell people before they pay for them.

I agree I don't think they have the full specs yet. It would be a very stupid move to not have the Directors cut included.

All depends what's printed on the outer j slip. That we haven't seen and probably wont until in hand.

If it was the directors cut, do you think that they would have had that underneath watchmen on the front?

It was removed by a guy who works for Play while he tries to find out whether it's the TC or DC, he's also a poster on AVF & HDN

This should be the directors cut, it's a complete no brainer. The discs already exist so no need to master or author a new disc.

I've ordered 2, 1 for me and 1 for a friend just like I did with Iron Man and Iron Man 2.

Really hope it's the directors cut, otherwise I'll have to get that version too and swap out the disc. It's easy enough to find second hand for around a fiver but that's not the point, I'd like it from the get-go.

If it was the directors cut, I'd assume it'd say that on the steelbook itself as it's almost become part of the title on previous releases.
