Meh, everything I've had from 88 Films so far outstreches what I've seen direct from Full Moon, so I'm more than happy to wait considering their form. It sucks, but I'd rather it done right. And to be fair, we don't know if this latest delay is due to features or not yet, there are plenty of other issues it could be.

Yes....but it's almost been a year....a year. I mean seriously at this point they would be better off just pushing it to the month it was originally supposed to be released in and just play dumb? Like "Ohh what? No no no you assumed 2012 but we meant 2013 silly.

I asked 88 Films via their FB page about the delay and they have stated that it will be out by June at the latest

It's because the Stuart Gordon interview is still being cut together.

So have all 88 Films Bluray releases been region free, including the extras?

Wow...but are we talking this June or 2014...because with this company I can't be sure. Between these guys and Twilight Time I go mad.

disks are region free so far, not sure if any features contain pal content that could give issue to US players.

Subspices UK release PQ is same as US bar it being 1080p has the same issues that the US review mentions

Did anyone else pre-order The Pit and the Pendulum? Hopefully that one remains on schedule. I certainly can't find fault with their prices though - Castle Freak remains at £8, with Pit and the Pendulum and their other pre-orders at £11.00 each and possibly dropping further.

True, there must have been a price drop because I got the whole thing with shipping to the US for £8.91

yup still says the oringal date for that one. they updated facebook again

"It looks like people have been getting emails from amazon saying that Castle freak has been delayed until October, we don't know why the dates have gone back that far. We told our distributor that we might be a little late for the 15/04 date as Stuart Gordon's interview is still being cut (was only finally shot this week) and we won't get it for another week or so. I think it's just a precaution. This will be out by June at the very, very latest but possible still in May. We'll come back with a confirmed date as soon as the extras are finished."

OK awesome! Not that far to wait... Hopefully released at the same time as the Pit and the pendulum!

Has anyone seen any comparisons between 88 Films' Subspecies disk(s) and the U.S. Full Moon one(s)? Seeing as 88 Films had the better Puppet Master transfers I'd like to know if I should grab their Subspecies disks (I have the original from Full Moon, but held off on 2 and 3 to see who had the better disks).

there are 5 of them ( I think one of them is a kind of prequel), when I emailed 88films they said they would release others if these do well.

I really want Puppet master 4, Id buy subspecies 4 & 5 to finish off collection
