Default Is that the only boxset?

Is that the only boxset they will release?
I hate boxsets like that...really.

I would have hoped for a simple box with just the films, but with a better price than to buy them separately.

There were ?s about the 1-disc Blu-ray, 2-disc DVD. According to what I heard, the Blu-ray will have all the DVD extras (some SD, some HD) aong with some new ones, on one dual layer disc, while the HD-DED version will use 2 discs as their can't hold as much data.

I've also heard there might be Linear PCM on these
There will be linear PCM on them. Warner has been pretty consistant with that and it's not like there's a lack of space

i didn't like that either... nor do i like the way the first case was blue tinted and the next two were black... doesn't matter... the first one is the only one that really counted in my book, the last two only "finished" the story. i still believe they could have left the masterpiece alone and it would have been fine.

All five, individually. As stated by others, I do not like the inconsistency in my movie cases. I'll get 6 and 7 when they come out and that will be that. Also, I read somewhere, I can't remember where, that the individual releases are going to have the extra discs features on them spread out over the first 4. The first 4 will also include the trading cards with them.

You forgot the none, option.

I'm not a Potter fan per say, but when I catch the occasional movie on TV, I must say they are fun to watch.

I could be inclinded to buy the box set one day. Same goes for Lord of the Rings.

Pre-Ordered the box set via WB, with 25% off, you can't beat the price.

My thought is, if I REALLY want the blu cases, I can buy em, but you can't buy the box set later, its limited edition, which = harder to find/get later.

Either way, price is good with 25% off, and you get the movies, which is the best at the end of the day.

but the first 2 are the worst.... they get much better / darker.

First 2 are more for kids.

same with the books... Book 5,6 and 7 are adult books... Murders, sex (well... love anyway..), drugs, and end of the world stuff... all in one neat 7 part series. If you half way enjoyed the movies, the books, as usual, are 10x better.

Absolutely correct. I just finished the books lat week, and they're the best reading I've ever done. The movies, as usual aren't as good since they have to leave out a lot for time (Goblet of Fire is about 2hr 40m and they still left out a lot), but they're still pretty close, and they generally get better as the series progresses. Except for OOTP, which I thought was the weakest of the series, but it has to be what it is to set up the rest.

Probably none of em

Unless someone convinces me. I've seen bits and peices of them. (never one all the way through) they just didn't seem that fantastic. What am I missing here? I just don't get it.

I won't be getting any until the seventh and final movie is released, then I will by the "super duper limited will explode if you don't watch it as soon as you buy it cos its so amazing" edition.

Um, I'll buy the boxset of all seven movies, once they're out. If at all.

For now, I remain unimpressed with the downward turn the series has taken, so I'll be spending my Blu-ray funds on more intriguing titles, like the Warner Kubrick films.

If anything, this too would be how I'd do it. I don't want a straggler in my collection.

Just sayin' is all. I hate box sets that only cover half of a series. You just know you're gonna end up buying it again.

I got the box set - I don't care about the box, the 25% off Warner HV deal meant I got all 5 movies for about $16/each.

I couldn't pass that up.

I like outlandish packaging, in fact the more outlandish the better so hopefully they do some sort of school briefcase when they do the release of all seven.
