I just used the MoviePass for the first time and it's pretty easy and convenient. And I notice that a lot of indie theaters in my area are included as well, so that gives a great variety of films to choose from.

I have some invites available, if anyone is looking to get one just send me a PM.

I have a question regarding this; if you sign up for one of these is AMC Stubs essentially useless? I'm thinking about it.

Good question. I wonder if the Movie pass money can go towards your rewards?

If you buy popcorn frequently, it may be worth it.

Is that like a rewards card? The MoviePass acts as your credit card, so you can also use a rewards cards with it. I use my local one with it all the time.

Just signed up. Was surprised to see my card was charged $65. I called and they told me it was a $25 initiation fee, which I didn't even see when I signed up but I guess. I think this will eventually be a good investment considering I just calculated how much I've spent on ticket stubs in the last month and it has been $70+.

Confirmed. I didn't have to pay that.

Does filmspotting still have their $5 or $10 off promo going on?

Wow, really? I'm kinda pissed now.

Edit: I just chatted with someone on the website and they said the fee was added in the last couple months. I guess then.

if they sent out emails asking you to sign up and didn't mention the fee, try to argue it

Note the aforementioned Filmspotting $10 code. I haven't listened to the podcast in a couple weeks, but I think it's still going on.

Ouchers! I would edit your email to say at instead of @! You are exposing that email to a whole lot of spam!!!
