I found the movie to be brainless fun plus in a extended cut, I'm buying it.

It wasn't terrible and I do like watching Kate beating up people, so I will buy this version.

Ebert gave it 3 out of 4 stars, although the readers gave it only 2. His review isn't damning, but he preferred the original. I've been intrigued by the trailers, but haven't seen it either. Seems like a fun movie if you don't analyze it too closely. Might have to bite on this one. Here's his review:

Hated Battleship and loved this one.And i've seen like 100 films this year.Def watch the extended cut.Awesome movie.

I'd only buy to switch the disk out inside with the real Total Recall. Feels appropriate.

are you saying that you would buy this steelbook to take out the movie that comes in it and replace it with a different movie (" the real TR" your term)?

I had this in my hand last night but i just couldn't waste 25 bucks on this movie lol i don't think the SB had the Demo, it had no stickers on it announce that.

Does it look better in person than the photos, which I think makes it look animated?

It looks like the Walmart Steelbook won't have an additional Bonus Disc (unless it's stuffed inside an envelope).

They promise the bonus disc in the title of the online listing itself

Yep, just got my shipping notice and is clearly states: BD + dvd + bonus disc.

WOuldnt the bonus disc simply be the 2nd BD that is supposed to ship with all version? The fact that it only says BD suggest that the Bonus Disc is simply the 2nd disc of special features that all version get. Wouldnt surprise me if they are classifying that 2nd BD as a bonus even though it technically is the same as all the other version.

There are only two spindles in the picture.

This is supposed to have 2 BDs (1 movie disc, 1 Bonus Features disc), no matter which version you buy.

Where is the DVD supposed to go?

Where is an additional Bonus Disc (Disc #4) supposed to go?

(Unless they're in an envelope or stuck to the back.)

I think this is probably what happened. This wouldn't be the first time that Walmart had an inaccurate description.
