That was my first reaction and my best hope for this deal.

I'm all for more theme parks, merchandizing, animated stuff, but not really for more live action. Indy too is now owned by Disney.

Wild.

I wish they'd do a KOTOR-era movie, that would be a dream come true.

Lol, you know that Disney will re-release all of the Original Trilogy in 5-disc combo packs (3DBD, SE BD, Theatrical BD, DVD, and DC). And then also release a 21-Disc Complete Collection. Disney loves money.

:P

I hope so. I don't give a rat's ass about new Star Wars movies. Just give me the original trilogy on Blu-ray(or 4K if they wait long enough). BTW, does this mean Disney now also owns Indiana Jones?

Star Wars episodes eight and nine will follow, Disney says in press release. Long-term plan is feature film every two-three years.

When they officially purchase Coke brand and/or McDonalds, I will officially fear Disney's conglomerate power.

Yeah, he's dead serious about his retirement thing.

Here's the thing; I always assumed that his kids would get LucasFilm. I wonder how that's all set up.

And even worse, Indiana Jones. Remember, LucasFilm owns the sole rights to Jones. What about that and Paramount's distribution deal with that property?

Old Jar Jar will most likely be wiser and less goofy. Afterall, Ep. 7 will be quite some time after the last time we saw him.
