Oh and they are also not the same. One of them is glossy and makes nerds cream their jeans, while the other is/does not. Your argument is even more invalid-er.

I've always found the use of Yankees when referring to the whole United States really annoying. I might be the only one. I am a student of history and I know the whole damn war and who won but it still bothers the hell out of me to call everyone Yankees.

Also I find that people don't know what good Asian music is so they promote the most stupid generic annoying crap.

Where does Yankee come from?
I have heard a few theories, one of those theories is:

- New York used to be 'New Amsterdam', it belonged to the Dutch
Most common Dutch names were 'Jan' and 'Kees'. So they called the citizens of New Amsterdam (now New York) 'Yankee'.

I don't know if it is true .

Might be I'm not really sure either but I believe the Civil War made the term Yankee more popular.

also Gamestop controlling the used video game market and the way everyone is talking about Demi Moore. I wonder if she needs help and nobody seems to care.

I haven't kept up with celebrity gossip in months. So, what's the deal with Demi?

I hate to pull the guy that made the video about Britteny Spears

I really wished they leave her alone. The way she acted at that one party with Lenny Kratviz (?). Like she's high or something but don't older women need to have fun too?

if I was with Demi I be happy though anyone marrying or dating ashton kucter (yea i don't care how its spelled) should have a mental check. he's so very annoying. I always wish Bruce and Demi would get back together

I am done though one last thing about my earlier post. Also I am southern and raised as a gentleman. So I don't understand why I have anything to do with Yankees-the following might be offensive

Just saw The Last Crusade (borrowed a library's set) and agree that it's better than Raiders of the Lost Ark, so want a standalone of that, too.

That’s not the site, its life. We are conditioned to be consumers from the day we are born... Some more than others but there is no escape. There are lots of places on the net where you might find more stimulating topics but a forum based on buying things isn't really the place to expect the opposite.

You "totally disagree" and tell me to check my facts then respond to a picture which shows exactly what I said and you contradict yourself with a thumbs up approval of said picture

got you wrong.

got the picture the way that society/market/etc. wants us to spent.

I got you the way that all the people want to buy more all the time. I feel that is NOT true.

sorry. my bad. again. as usual.

any sense ?

Who cares, buy whatever you want if it makes you happy, after all the more people spend the more it strengthens our economies, which creates more jobs etc. That's just the way modern society works. Sure, we shouldn't put possessions before love/life/relationships, but just because people post up what they have bought or own, doesn't mean they value their possessions more than those things. I'm sure most have their priorities in order. If you don't like the way things are Nefilim, then I would suggest selling your computer that you post on here with, and the rest of your possessions, clothes and all, and become a nudist hippy that separates themselves from all this. Go live in some community without electricity and plumbing, where you have to shit in a hole, hunt for your own food, and find your own water.

Edit: Maybe you'd have something to post up if you didn't throw around and break all your possession by being a bad tempered drunk all the time, as per previous comments made by you.

No worries, simple misunderstanding.

but it ain't that black and white.

you spent quite a lot on everything over there don't you. how strong is your economy? weak.

others are allowed to post their latest hauls and you are ok w/ it.

when I post my different view on that I should became naked hippy etc?

bet you were on debate team in you college.

Edit: bad tempered drunk? thanks! that might get you suspended. but I do not mind. I'm a bit bigger than that. actually my temper/mood swings are caused by totally different things than alcohol. which is not a problem for me BTW. not a drunk. yes I have a problem, but it's medical one. so I could get hurt of that remark.

and about my posts. I do not really know what you see is wrong w/ them. but I guess something is?!

cheers,

Nef.

Australia has one of the strongest economies in the world at the moment, and our dollar has been worth more than the U.S dollar for almost 2 years straight. As usual you carry on, trying to act all intellectual but just sound like and ignorant peanut, who posts up for attention and likes the sound of his own voice. I think any member on here could out debate you, in fact it would be over before it began, because each party needs to have knowledge on what they are arguing about, which counts you out.

If other members want to post up their latest hauls etc, then I've got no problem with that, why should I, and why should you?

Edit: Btw, I didn't call you a naked hippy, I said if you don't like how society is then go and become one.
