Some others I rather not see:
Kate Bosworth
Ryan Reynolds
Owen Wilson
Clive Owen
Russell Brand
Orlando Bloom (the guy can't act!)

There's no actor I specifically refuse to watch.

However, my opinion of Julianne Moore's acting is not particarly flattering, and my opinions of Tom Cruise and Jane Fonda as people are rather low (a few others are pretty borderline: Christian Bale, Sean Penn, etc).

I don't really like those action heroes with millions of movies that were all the same. I.E. Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal (although a couple of Seagal's earlier movies were decent).

This!

I can't take them in serious roles. The Woman In Black was terrible.

+1 (and add Jonah Hill to the list as well... though I did have to put up with him in MONEYBALL)

I won't ever NOT watch a film due to a particular actor, but there are 2 in mind that I loathe with a passion!

Are there any actors that you try to avoid at all costs?
Apparently, you also refuse to spell his name correctly. It's Jim Carrey.

He is pure genius. Watch Man on the Moon! PERFECTION!

I don't care about the actors/actresses, as long as their performances, and the story are good.

I won't actively seek out movies with Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and the like though.

I have no absolute rules when it comes to movies, but I do tend to turn down watch movies starring Matthew Mcconaughey.

If a movie stars any of these terrible actors, then I already know the movie is crap.

Also, I don't hate them, but these actors are for the most part not very good.

Will Smith (He chooses terrible movies to work on and is almsot always the Fresh Prince.)
Robert Pattinson
Kristin Stewart
Mark Wahlberg (He has been in some decent movies but I stand by that he can't act at all.)
Paul Walker
Milla Jovovich
Vin Diesel
Hayden Christensen (I liked Vanishing on 7th Street.)

I wouldn't say 'refuse,' but I normally do cringe a bit when I see the trailer of a new movie with Nicolas Cage. Just haven't really enjoyed the guy much since the days of Face/Off and The Rock.

Actors, none really. I used to not be able to stand Colin Ferrel, but then I watched In Bruges, he's awesome in that. Also, I try and avoid certain actors associated with Scientology, I will probably break that rule to see Oblivion.

I avoid Michael Bay films like that plague.

I'm with you on both counts. I liked Farrell immensely in Minority Report which was the first film I ever saw him in, went South from that point until In Bruges and now I like him again. I also try to avoid supporting films that feature that cult's members, usually if I really want to see one I'll rent it on video.

Dude. The Weather Man was AMAZING! haha

It's one of my all time favorite films, actually. Mostly because the way I see Nicolas Cage is this absurd, uncomfortable, neurotic, "subtly over the top" caricature goof ball. He keeps playing in action movies, but looks stupid doing so... but that film, the character he plays pretty much *IS* Nicolas Cage, the way I see him. I was dying laughing the entire film. I need blu treatment, badly.

He's good in Total Recall, but Minority Report is by far his best film.
