I think you would be better on your comp, but it will look better on ur 46". I would play on your PS3 unless you plan on playing competitively. I have the same dillema for Team Fortress 2. I love it on the comp, but I won't be anywhere close to the same skill level on the PS3. Or just download the PC version and play both

Call of Duty 4 was the one tittle at E3 that nearly everyone said they were looking forward to the most. I read somewhere that the people at the Halo 3 booth were getting peeved that COD4 was getting so much more attention.
"Still, as strong as Call of Duty 4 is shaping up to be in the gameplay department, the most immediately impressive aspect is by far its graphics. The PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions all look surprisingly similar, but that's not due to one platform being the lead; Infinity Ward personally assured us that development occurred simultaneously on all three platforms, and that there wasn't a base system. With that said, the console similarities end when it comes to textures, lighting and resolutions, because those three areas make the PlayStation 3 version definitely excel over the Xbox 360 SKU." from the Daily Gamer article. I personally like the PS3 over the 360. Other then Rumble in the controller (which PS3 gets rumble in the US next year), 360 has the better online system. Most of the time it is easier to meet up with friends and find online matches. Plus with the 360 online, you have guaranteed voice support where as the PS3 just depends if the players have a headset or if the game even supports voice.
If I was getting the game, I would get it on PS3. I choose not to support 360 anymore. The hardware is garbage. I am on my second replacement... I will only get a 360 game if it is a must have and exclusive to 360. |

I've always been partial to the PS3 controller a lot more (No I don't own a 360 and I've only played it a little bit so that could be why).
Ps3 controllers will also have rumble sometime in the near future so no need to worry about that. |

I just got a call from GameStop indicating that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare would be shipping on Monday, which means it will be in-store by Tuesday. A nice change-up from the usual Tuesday ship/Wednesday in-store scenario.

I own both systems and will without a doubt be picking it up for the PS3. I played halo 3 and not only was it short due to the limited disk space, but I recall playing it and thinking to myself how it would look much better on the PS3.

Does anyone know if the buy COD4 get COD3 deal works for the PS3 as well at Circuit City? In one part of the Ad, it shows the 360 version, in another it just says Buy COD4 and get COD3. I would consider picking this up if i can get COD3 with it.

Am I the only one who will miss playing COD for WWII-type games? I honestly liked their game better than MOH.
On the other hand, the graphics are so amazing, and it would cost me a ton of money to upgrade my pc to play this game. PS3 version it is. |

![]() Call of Duty 4 is running at 1080p on PS3 and with the above comment of the game running at 60FPS i can only say....... WOOT, 1080p game running at 60FPS and looking silky smooth proves it can be done constantly on the PS3, who the HELL else wants to say the PS3 is an over-priced paper weight, get a brain scan |
