I wonder if Amanda Seyfried would cameo if they wrote in a part for her. I'd think she was a total B if she didn't .

With marketing, production costs of physical media, theatrical distribution - they 'll be doing their part.

Also, it's just this minute reached $1.5 million. Incredible.

They are/will be paying for a hell of a lot. Marketing and distribution etc...

I think they'll be kickin in some dough too simply because the interest appears strong.

I don't see them putting much into it though. Not with the paltry limited/VOD release they have planned for it.

Wow, this is extremely impressive. I wonder other people will try for other shows.

Keep in mind WB wont make much on this, at least from anyone thats donating. Many people are already getting digital copies, dvds, and/or blu-rays of the movie, with the DC coming immediately after the theatrical release. So I figure WB kicking in for marketing and distribution is a decent deal for what theyll get back.

same for people who say K-Bell or Rob Thomas should kick on some of their own $$. They basically are. I dont see any other production with a total budget of $2M affording Kristen, much less everyone else. Theyre taking minimal pay to make this it would seem.

A F&G movie would have to be set in what...early/mid 90s? That cast has certainly aged.

Sales for it on Blu/DVD should be great.

No, it would be current times lol Like a reunion where they all get back together and stuff. I'm sure they could find ways to do a good job with it.

No. When it was made in late 90s it took place in like 1980. so if it takes place in current time youd have to forward-age actors who aged 15 years to look like they aged 35 years.

So does anyone have the courage to post what they are pledging?

I would like to but I don't know what to do. I'd like the DVD / early release / T-shirt, but I'd also like a movie poster. hmmmm

Yes, this!

If there ever was a chance of getting the 3 seasons on Blu-ray it is now. With everybody talking about it and the kickstarter reaching its goal in about a day (my guess, it's at 1.77 million now) there's much interest for the show now. They could release one season every three months so it is completely released when the movie is released in February.

I hope Warner is smart enough to do this.

PS: I'm also hoping that international shipping will be added to the kickstarter. I only pledged $10 but I would raise it.

I originally pledged the $100 for the poster, digital download, script, blu-ray, and t-shirt. After speaking with my wife, we upped it to $200 so the poster is autographed by the whole cast. We plan on getting it framed.

$1.8 million and 28,000 backers so far. I think it's safe to say their goal will be met on their first day. Let's hope they get a decent surplus for the "explosions and nudity fund."

$100 here. Can I really afford it? Nah. But I want this to happen more than anything. I'll get a whole boatload of goodies anyway, including the script, t-shirt, movie poster, and the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack when it releases on DVD, which I'd be buying anyway. I'm such a huge fan I'm willing to dish out money to see this movie become a reality. I wouldn't do this for just anything.
