I don't think its going anywhere. I just read an article where the creators of the series talked about the season 3 storyline and how it will carry over into season 4. I will post the article if I can find it.

I can't believe
[Show spoiler]Athelstan is dead!
I like
[Show spoiler]Floki
but this was way over the top, even for his unique temperament. Wow, what is Ragnar going to do now? Yikes. He really cared for
[Show spoiler]Athelstan.
Ragnar's monologue at
[Show spoiler]Athelstan's gravesite
was heartbreaking. How does Rollo play in all of this now from his conversation with The Seer? Very powerful episode. I haven't watched Athelstan's Journal yet, which was broadcast after 'Born Again' but I will for sure.

I thought Ragnar looked very
[Show spoiler]religious
in that last scene. Will be very interesting to see what happens next?

I think we may have a hint of his intentions from his quote during his monologue "I think your God may need to forgive me not for what I've done, but for what I am about to do..."

I really liked this season, but shadowing was subpar imo.

Ever since he said sorry to him about what he was going to do while grabbing the cross was foreshadowing, same w the prediction of the dead and the looks exchanges between the other two and the prediction as well.

In the end it was a solid season; just nothing really caught me off guard in the Paris storyline. Everything went was foretold.

One of my favorite shows! Loved Season 3 as usual. I just couldn't get over the fact that
[Show spoiler]Ragnar was lying in that casket dead.
I remember saying to myself No! No! No! This can't be!
[Show spoiler]Ragnar can't be gone
But then watching them bring
[Show spoiler]his casket
into the church in Paris I was thinking
[Show spoiler]"Watch, he's alive and is gonna jump out"
Yay! I think the Princess has a thing for Rollo to tell you the truth Wow, Rollo
[Show spoiler]going against his brother
again?? Not a smart man that Rollo... Poor Floki too. That last scene was too much.

The wife and I recently got into this show and totally love it! As of tonight, we're at the third episode of season 2.
Thanks for using the spoiler tags!
I'll come back to this thread when we catch up.

I love this series, these History channel shows teach you something too, I had no idea the vikings went to Paris.
I loved the ending of this one.

As much of a Viking history/Norse mythology buff I am, I could not get into this show at all. I watched the first two seasons and that was enough for me. The first season was okay and the second was pretty good but the acting seemed really off and the writing didn't seem very good. I will say, it was one of the most gorgeous shows I've seen in a very long time. The locations they filmed at were very vibrant and beautiful, almost breathtaking.

I love the characters. History isn't a great source of history, but Travis Fimmel makes a fantastic Ragnar Lothbrok.

What happened to you, Sweden?

Just caught the season premiere of Vikings (3 eps recorded), one of my favorite TV series. Wow, we ought to start calling Lagertha the "UPS Girl" for the way she dispatches packages I had to cross my legs during that one. My favorite super hot shieldmaiden Winnick had a black belt at 13. Cool! I was really into martial arts when I was younger so this really caught my attention. Supermodel looks and a real butt-kicker. What a turn-on.

Rollo is just a cretin, pure and simple. He did actually show some integrity with the
[Show spoiler]French princess,
though, kind of like Tyrion and Sansa in GoT, although that was more age-related. I got a kick out of her reaction. You could tell she had a thing for him when he was swinging the axe on top of the
[Show spoiler]wall of Paris
last season.

I made Blu-ray Guru with this post!

Just watched season one of this . not a bad show . like that they keep the first three seasons short but kinda worried now that they are doing 20 episode 4th and 5th seasons. Wish Byrne had lasted more than the first six episodes . could have at least stretched his arc out until the ninth and final episode of season one.

I'm finally caught up again. I knew Lagertha was gonna
[Show spoiler]do what she did, I think we all did. She's just too bad ass.
. I'm wondering when Bjorn
[Show spoiler]gets his revenge
. And I'm glad it plays into
[Show spoiler]what his Mom just did
.
Fricken love this show!
