I can say unequivocally that they are NOT in financial trouble at all. Their listings for both are still part of the schedule, but there have been some delays in manufacturing that mean artwork and release date are just TBC for now. To be honest I think they put that up too early, when they were already busy at Cannes and everything.

My sainsburys pre order is still there and not been cancelled but its gone from the website.

for Evil Dead [Doubleplay Steelbook].

We’re sorry to advise you that this title has been deleted by the supplier and is no longer available. We have made every attempt to secure stock but unfortunately we have just been informed of this issue and are unable to fulfil your order. I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and the delay in confirming the shortage of stock.

The release has probably been cancelled, so you won't be okay

Both are still in my Sainsburys order history despite the cancellation email. Do I need to cancel online as don't want the standard plastic case versions.

I really hope the UK still gets it though but highly unlikely now.

I won't be getting the FS version if the UK one has been cancelled.

I don't mind £14.99 for a Blu-ray/DVD combi that's easy to get hold of, but it's not a movie I care anywhere enough about to pay more for less and any effort to get it.

I might get the DVD version when it's cheap or secondhand.

Why is everyone so convinced that this is cancelled? It isn't supposed to release until 3 months from now. Plenty of time before then.

Because some retailers have started sending out emails saying that it has been deleted by the supplier and won't be available
