Game of Thrones or True Blood?

Back in 2012, I would have said Game of Thrones, without hesitation... but now, on a narrative level, I'd say they're both on the same level. The only edge GOT has on True Blood these days are the higher production values and the cast.

A few month ago I got Game of Thrones Season 2 & 3 on Blu-ray. I watched episodes 201 & 202, and then accidentally skipped to 303. I didn't notice I had skipped a season until after I took the disc out of the system... I haven't watched the show since.

only saw the first season of true blood and (while it had interesting characters) i really couldn't get into it at all. might give season 2 a chance since i've heard it gets better there. but that said, i think game of thrones is better at the moment.

Game of Thrones.. although it's not as big of a gap as I'd have thought.

Game of Thrones has had it dragged out so long that it isn't as good as it used to be, almost too much politics just for the sake of it sometimes.

True Blood was good, but they had such a large turn over with plots that it seemed like it lasted longer than it did and then it went off the rails in the final season and made it un-rewatchable.

Definitely Game of Thrones, don't think I even care to watch True Blood again.

I enjoyed True Blood but the last 2-3 seasons the wheels really just fell off and it was a bit of a chore to watch.
So far GoT hasn't had a bad season and I don't see that happening since we are about to get the final two seasons which are planned out
