I too saw it for my first time a couple nights ago, definitely a great movie, and had a lot of depth for a movie of it's type.

Just finished watching it 10 mins ago! Awesome movie! PQ is excellent, and i did like the storyline. Truly recommend everyone with a blu ray player to get it (I got it with that TaxCut deal...free!). Now i'm watching The Fifth Element for the umpteenth time lol

Default Ratatouille

I currently have 17 Blue Ray movies haven't watched atleast 5 of them yet. But i have to say Ratatouille sets the bar for me on how Blue ray piture quality should look. I have seen Cars: Meet the Robinsons still have the wrapper on it. I have to say though Cars looked Great until the movie moved to dusty Radiator Springs. I must say Ratatouille to me still blow Cars away in picture quality and detail. I hear that also Meet the Robinsons is on par with Ratatouille in picture quality. I just have to make those comparisons over the weekend. But again Ratatouille sets the standards for me...thoughts.

I love Ratatouille! It is by far the best Blu-Ray movie currently available, in my opinion. The picture and sound quality are perfect. The movie itself is awesome. I love it, I love it, I love it!

that was the first movie I showed to my "non-beliver" friend on my new Samsung 1080p and his mouth dropped open and he couldn't get his eyes off the TV you have to realize that this came from a guy who said blu-ray and HD was completely pointless

After updating the firmware of my PS3 - Ratatouille is not loading on my player. Anyone else having this problem? Any solution?

Although I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, there wasn't an edition of Ratatouille released with a Digital Copy, correct?

If he is so passionate about Blu-ray, how come Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol looks like crap?

More banding and macroblocking than I have seen in any blockbuster on BD ever.

AFAIK, the exact cause of that has not been found (some see it, others don't, on either the BB exclusive or general release). It has been speculated that it may be more a combination of AV equipment that accentuates the problem, than an encoding error on the disc itself...?

Maybe, although I find that hard to believe.
How come I can see macroblocking when it's not there, but not see it on other BDs?

To this day, no one can really tell me if the BB exclusive disc is dramatically improved in ways of compression and banding problems.
Much confusion.. there seems to be.
