But we should not have to mess with the audio output for it to play correctly.

I know. I've had a few films over the past couple of months with problems. (Dredd, Hugo, Total Recall, Monsters Uni)

The 3D was fantastic, you can't go wrong with Pixar films in 3D.

Sorry to hear that. The latest Sony firmware I downloaded seems to have cured this problem as the original Monsters Inc 3D was unwatchable with the 7.1 TrueHD soundtrack on due to audio drop-outs, but now it plays fine.

So has anyone received their Sainsburys exclusive in the post yet? as I thought the email they sent last week informing us of the delay said orders would be upgraded to Royal Mail First Class and 99% of the time First Class for me is next day but starting to wonder if they sent them via their normal TNT route or just 2nd class.

Me neither - I reckon it's cos they posted them quite late yesterday? If they're using TNT again I'll be annoyed - several of my Sainsbury's orders have not shown up, and I have to wait 2 weeks until I can claim it as lost in the post. Happened with The Incredibles, which was dispatched over a week ago now and still hasn't arrived! Sainsbury's don't seem to reply to me when I criticise their choice of logistics.

Received my Sainsbury's special edition. Glad that the extra disc is a blu ray and not a DVD. Also loving the alternate artwork. It's much better than the standard artwork IMO (which I didn't like at all).

I've just noticed that somehow I've ended up with two copies being despatched from Sainsburys of their exclusive release when I only ordered one

I checked my e-mails and the order went through for two. I don't know how that happened so I'm going to have to send one back

I watched this last night - I didn't really have super high expectations for it after the mixed response it got during its cinema run, but I really enjoyed it. Yes, it felt like a direct-to-DVD prequel of 00's Disney, but I think its a welcome addition to the Pixar films.
[Show spoiler]I also really liked the final act when Mike entered the human world, was a good, unexpected scene that was quite tense.

Not got round to watching the bonus disc yet, but it's nice to know I have a more comprehensive package thanks to Sainsbury's.

I kept thinking the bonus disc was a DVD as they are usually with Sainsbury's, so when I received my copy today, I was glad to see the bonus disc was a Blu-ray

Shame they haven't done a comboe pack of the first and second movies in 3D. I've never seen the first or this one, but only want them in 3D.

I think you're in the minority. If people really want Monsters Inc, I think they would have it already. Of course, they have made combos for less, so
