Looks like the new runtime for the extended cut is 2hrs, 17min.

Mangold‏@mang0ld26 Aug
@MikeH5856 I think it will be branched. 2:17 will be the approx new length. And unrated.

Wal-Mart has the release date as 12/31/13 which is a wait if true.

I just felt like many of the extended scenes didn't flow very well when compared to the theatrical cut. However...I do miss the scene where Face almost blows away Morrison when they find out he's the one who betrayed them.

+1.

The extended cut of the A-Team drags like hell. I do also like the scene with Face, you mention, but can live without it for the pacier cut.

Unrated...I wonder how much gorier it will be.

I was surprised by the amount of blood they had in the PG-13 cut. Usually the MPAA is pretty wimpy when it comes to any blood. Now, originally PG-13 was supposed to mean >thisclose< to R, and the mid '80s movies with the rating were like that. Then it got really watered down in the '90s with things like Twister being rated PG-13 for "intense weather" or some other nonsense .

The extended cut will more likely involve some ninja/Wolvie action in the village .

All this talk about the superb A-Team movie makes me depressed that we will never get a sequel.

. I consider The Wolverine to be a pretty intense and riskay PG-13 movie.

We actually see a man with SEVERE burns all over his body, there's quite a bit of blood throughout the film (more than The Dark Knight, which is pretty intense), a lot of cursing, LOTS of killing and threesome about to commence; but was cut short .

And an impromptu heart surgery. My sister nearly hid under her chair at that scene.
