Yeah, those reviews are discouraging. It's what I feared, but I am very tempted to pick it up anyway since I need something to play.

I'm still looking forward to playing it but some of the stuff I've been reading is a little disappointing. For example, I was hoping the game would be a showcase type title for next gen consoles but it is sounding like it isn't really. Some of the gameplay elements sound really good but some of mechanics for moving around the world seems a little inconsistent so I guess I'll have to see how that aspect goes.

As far as reviews, heh, I guess it depends on which review you check. Saw this blurb by a Eurogamer review (Italy) on Metacritic. Sounds like they really liked it (rated it a 90).

I'm still gonna pick this up tomorrow, as Merrick stated & I concur I need something to fill the gap until Infamous comes out in a month. I'll be on vacation for the rest of this week anyways so I'll have plenty of time to dig into this.

Hmm...

I might just cancel my pre order. I want something to play and I'll still give ti a try when it's free on plus within a year, but I just don't like spending a lot of money on a game that's just okay.

Oh well...I was never too hyped for it anyway.

Definetly not worth a day one purchase. Hopefully its a Plus offer down the line

Sony has been good at getting SE offerings on PS Plus.

Deus Ex Human Revolution and Sleeping Dogs are two examples.

I agree with this not being a day one purchase but I need a filler or my PS4 will start collecting dust.

It's a good thing I still had some credits left on my Power Up card.

I will have it tomorrow. I don't give a rat's ass about reviews. I've spent plenty of bad money on games that reviewed well and conversely, good money on games that reviewed poorly. No way to know, unless you try it yourself.

I will probably take a chance on it too. Its a game I really want to like.

Watched the stream & the games cutscenes look really good.

Didn't look bad either on "Live on PlayStation" a little rough during actual gameplay but these streams come no where near as close as the real deal.

Graphics should be great on this.
Audio, I'll just assume the same.

Hadn't seen any spoilers & gameplay doesn't look bad either for stealth. Ign says Voice acting is bad on lead character & out of sync? Hmm. I say at least there is a story. I guess if you don't like to loot, don't buy this game is the message.

I don't think they make good fanny pack's any more which makes finding a really good one to steal these days all that more important.

Well, it was neither the best money spent nor the worst.

Anyway, it's been a long drought, and I'm looking forward to something new. Rayman is going to give me a repetitive motion injury. And now I'm prepared to be inundated with games such that I can't keep up. I'm going to get the slim back out for Dark Souls 2, and that should keep me busy beyond Infamous and MLB14.

I can see it. Hitman, Just Cause 2 and a couple of the Tomb Raider games also come to mind
