Evil Dead. Two fantastic movies and two "meh" ones. A potentially awesome TV series follows.

Just saw Child's Play 3 for the first time a couple of days ago.

I say 'watched', after 35 minutes I skipped through the rest to reach the end to see how Chucky dies. What a bad film. The first two were watchable but this was meh imo.

Off topic, but apparently, people didn’t get my geographical joke about the Nightmare On Elm Street Franchise. It’s from 2014 and it still holds up today.

But only for bicyclists and pedestrians. The whole stretch of the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495 in New York) has displaced the stretch of 25 west of William Floyd Parkway in Suffolk County for the highest motorist accident fatality rate.

If you strictly go by motorist fatality rate, it’s now A Nightmare On The Long Island Expressway. But I think the traffic problems on that stretch of Interstate 495 would make Freddy Krueger weak and, therefore, easy to defeat.

Don't care for franchises.
Probably Hammer's Frankenstein films.

Halloween is amazing, but I don't care for any of the sequels.

Friday is consistent for the first 8 entries and has more nudity than Halloween or Nightmare.

This. That's like making a favorite sci-fi film franchise poll without Terminator.

But anyways, I'll say Evil Dead just because it's the most consistently-good horror franchise of the lot. Most horror franchises have one great film and a lot of bad ones whereas all of the Evil Dead films are good, so that one.

Hannibal Lector series, if considered "horror" (can be seen as psychological thrillers too except TSOTL), otherwise maybe "The Three Mothers" films!
