Angry Missed Opportunity!!!

Well, it's over! What a way to miss an opportunity!!! I'm starting to believe the BDA are a bunch of idiots. Especially after they spend all of that money on commercials that anyone with a DVR skips. Spend a mill to get on Oprah's Favorite Things and get it over with. But, nooooooo. They have the WRONG people in their marketing department!!!

Three missed opportunities:
  1. Oprah opens the show talking about an HD technology device: The Samsung SC-HMX10C. Why not open with a Blu-Ray player? Or a PS3? Or at least use the HD camcorder to transition into playing back HD movies ala Blu-Ray.
  2. Oprah talks about Planey Earth DVDs. Why couldn't she at least say, "...or even better, Planet Earth in high definition on Blu-Ray!"
  3. The most expensive item?: An LG HDTV Refrigerator LSC27991. Hmmm...there should never be a mention of HD without also mentioning Blu-Ray.
I'm so dissappointed. I flat-out GAVE the BDA a marketing idea and they did not capitalize on it. How lame is that?

On a positive note: At least HD-DVD wasn't mentioned.
