Probably offset by the general ridiculous price of Nebraska that I caved and paid for (albeit with HMV discount...so not that bad really).

Got mine, too! Watched the unrated cut last night and loved it! Will try the r-super sized when I have time. Not sure if the pg-13 is worth watching!? A real bargain, though!

I guess I can get the US edition. If it's the one to get, I'll pick it up sometime.

So to summarise, can someone explain what is the difference between the US and UK versions of the bluray?

How many cuts are we getting on ours as opposed to the states? And what are we missing?

UK has 2 versions
*the really long version
*UK theatrical cut 119min

USA has 3 versions
*pg13 USA theatrical (slightly different to UK version..only slightly)
*extended / uncut version
*the really long version

some extras will be slightly different like commentary as uk only has it on theatrical while USA copy has it on the extended version.

overall you get more bang for your buck from USA version and it was uptill this week going really cheap on Amazon.com for $12.99 which delivered to UK was around £12.09 making it cheaper than any UK prices.
sadly it has now risen back up to normal prices.

hope that helped

It does thanks. So the US extended cut that isn't the 'really long cut', how much different is that to our theatrical?

If they were sent out via iparcel, there was a snafu at UK customs, that was only recently resolved.

Quote:
Hello,

Thank you for your email. I apologize for the troubles and confusion
with your parcel. There was an error in the labeling of parcels
within customs, which has since been resolved. This caused the delay
in customs within GB. Below is the new tracking number with Royal
Mail. Please note that it may take a a few business days before you
will see this parcel registered with Royal Mail.

Again I apologize for the delay and thank you for your time and patience.

Local tracking number FL*********GB

Thank you
Emily

My Anchorman 2 also came via Belgium in just over a week.
Much better than my other recent order The Swimmer which they sent via Switzerland and took 3 weeks.
