I often buy on a whim, so I don't have a damn clue. But probably around 120 is a safe bet. I think I got around that this year, if maybe a few less.

There was a thread last year created for the purpose of tracking all of your Blu-Ray purchases as well as their costs. I drastically slowed down in 2013 collecting only 63 for a final cost of just over $900. I plan to reduce this even more so (probably around 50) through 2014 focusing on only those purchases deemed necessary.

About 170 this year alone, some were double dips, some were to replace lost or stolen ones, It's probably a bit more than that as I sold a few that I did get this year like the New Total Recall... I hated that movie!

I got about 80 this year, so maybe about the same for 2014. I divided 80 by 12 as in 12 months, and got scary numbers, ha.

Planning on using Netflix more in 2014, so I hope to only buy around 20-30 in 2014

If I buy just ONE that will be a 100% increase over 2013.

As many as it takes.

More watching and less buying is the plan.

I haven't the faintest idea. It all depends what is due out. I know I have 8 on pre order so far.

I'll say between 1 and 200.

- I have about 20 on my 'to buy' list that will be released by the end of April
- My 'waiting for the price to drop before buying' list is only 5 titles at this point
- Will probably pick up a couple of random titles that look interesting that are on sale

Might even be under 100 for this coming year unless we get a huge wave of catalog releases!

How did you manage to get a half a Blu-ray in 2013

Will depend on what new catalog movies are released that I'm interested in, although I'm going to start being a little more picky since I know 4K discs are most likely not far off

Lol you are the one who is wrong. .5 blurays is 100% of .5 blurays.... Therefore an increase of 100% would be .5 blu's + .5 blu's = 1 blu. Maybe go back to school?

As many as my budget allows. My wishlist is pretty long, but these are the ones I'm 100% certain will be in my collection by this time next year:

Gravity 3D
Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Sherlock: Series 1-3

I'm at around 470 in my collection as of now and I would like to get over 500, and it would be a dream to get to 600.

My guess is 50-80. I figure 20-30 for new releases and maybe 30-40 catalog titles. Of course it all depends on what is announced and actually comes out through the year. Also, of the 118 I bought last year, a good number of those came due to Best Buy's U&S program, so since that is no longer around I expect to see a good drop off on the number of catalogs I buy.
