Since I'm from the US the Amazon price dropped to £15.xx plus shipping so I'll keep my order with them.

Did amazon.co.uk drop the price of the steel at an earlier point then raise it back up to £19.xx? That's what I'm seeing now.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see what you mean--minus the VAT it's £15.97 plus shippng.

If you order from Arrow, you earn points which you can then redeem towards future purchases, and shipping is free for orders over £50. Plus you'll receive the discs earlier than you would through Amazon. Arrow don't use special steelbook packaging like Amazon, however.

It's a close race, and while Arrow does have the slightly lower price, the "peace of mind", and packaging, Amazon provides won me over in the end.
Plus there's always a chance, albeit very slim, that Amazon drops the price even further...then it's money in the bank.

that's why I didn't order from them... I like arrow and you would think that they know most of their customers are collectors given the types of releases they have... the first thing I bought directly from them was the texas chainsaw massacre 2 and the box and booklet inside was smashed on one corner... not horrible but more than I would like obviously, so I won't order a steel from them unless they start packaging things more safely

I've got enough Arrow's to watch at the moment.

It's nice to know they have our best interests at heart

No wonder I haven't gotten a shipping notification. I thought I saw a late May street date when I first preordered. With the month quickly coming to a close and no notification I began to suspect something was up.

Until this news, I believe the release date was June 23.

Haha! Probably just flip-flopped months.
With an already release packed June, for me, I don't mind having a few pushed back.

This feels like a potential Shout Factory title in the US... but I won't hold my breath. Universal latches onto some titles that Shout wants, like Army of Darkness, so who knows what'll happen
