You'd think he would have hired one of his cartel lawyers to at least draft the letter. Lol

I'm a native Spanish speaker, and Wagner Moura's accent didn't bother me that much. I was really happy that most of the other cast members could pull off some sort of Colombian sounding accent, though.

Heck, if we're going to talk about annoying accents, the people of Dorne in GoT who sound like they're doing a shitty impression of Al Pacino's Scarface grate on my nerves.

Anyway... I'm excited for Season 2 even though I kinda know what's gonna happen. I'd love it if they somehow turned the show into some sort of an anthology, with each season focusing on a different drug kingpin.

Season two of “Narcos” will be the last featuring drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, played by Wagner Moura. But the series’ producers contend that it won’t be the last for the show.

“The show is not about Pablo Escobar,” executive producer Jose Padilha said at the Television Critics Association press tour Wednesday. “The show is about cocaine. It’s about drug dealers that sell cocaine. The show is still going to be the show it is.”

“We’re not really at liberty to say what next season is yet, but we have a joke that we plan on stopping when cocaine stops,” executive producer Eric Newman said. As season two closes, he added, “There are other drug dealers that are forming alliances against Pablo, so there are multiple stories that we could tackle if we want to.”

Padilha explained that the evolution of the Colombian drug trade saw post-Escobar drug lords shift from selling directly to the United States to selling to Mexican middlemen, who then moved product to the U.S. — and had to deal with U.S. law enforcement.

“What happens with the violence? It goes to Mexico,” Padilha said. “I don’t want to tell you what the next season is, but …”

Loved Season 2. Easily some of the best television I've ever watched.

I really don't think they need a season 3 as almost all loose ends were tightly wrapped. However, it strongly hints there will be a third season with the final scene with Javier.

Now hopefully the blu-ray hits somewhat soon!

It would be awesome if it continued into Cocaine Cowboys with La Madrina being the big bad. I understand Wahlberg has a movie, Michael Bay has a show in on the subject matter (both in creative Limbo) I just want it to FINALLY happen and the quality that Netflix provides to their shows TNT wouldn't do it justice.

I'm on the 2nd episode for this new season already solid i can see them doing more without Pablo since there are so many other dealer's and there storylines that we can follow so i could see another season or so go forward too.

And a 4th Season:

“The show was never about Pablo Escobar. It was always about the drug war, and the drug war continues on. In fact, it continues on into the present.”

Fair enough. No need for the attitude. I was being nice when I said Dude, unlike your sarcastic use of it.
