There, I called it
VERY much appreciate the info.

That said, having played all the Souls games to date (which, IMHO, are some of the best videogames ever made), that's really not going out on a limb at all. If From's latest IP DOESN'T get over 90, I'd be shocked.

Bloodborne is game of the show at EGX for Eurogamer, and early GotY 2015 contender...

Bloodborne only as 2 versions. Regular $60 and the $80 collectors edition.

Order:1886 has an $80 version and a $150 version.

I tried to download the Alpha on my Japanese account, but I don't have PS Plus on it. I'd buy a one month membership if it didn't cost a pretty penny to buy Japanese PSN cards.

BloodBourne looks great so far. Will have to hear learn more about it before its release date in 2015.

I also never got into the Demon's Souls games for fear they'd be so frustratingly difficult they wouldn't be any fun. True, false? I like a challenge, but not an next to impossible one from what I heard. The Driver games were tough enough near the end and during those missions, no longer fun. The missions you repeat literally 100 times.
The last Soul game got a great review score, so maybe I'll give it a try when it's a lower price.

This may be different since it's a new title. The werewolf in the town looks tough. Same with the giant Crow. Game Informer mentions you can roll into the old, frail hags with the fire weapons to knock them back as they try to surround you.

Good to hear healing items are accessible freely instead of being limited in the inventory.

Can't talk about betas on public forums or you run the risk of being reported and kicked out of beta and future betas......:whispers: I'll PM you

Graphics are stunning! I enjoyed the combat but feel the game would benefit from a blocking system and the camera angles need a lot of work. Once you start rolling around you lose sight of the enemy. Gun play needs s lot of work also, thought it would feel more like DMC. Demon Souls fans should love this...very unforgiving

Sounds like a locking camera would be beneficial for this game. I know some may say “that would make it too easy”, but if it’s that easy to lose sight of the enemy, it would be something I would appreciate. Maybe put it in as an option.

This game really looks great, and as I love RPGs, this one is on my radar.

all the souls games have a lock on system and are far from too easy

(Wait for it) I have played very little of Dark Soul or the Demons’ Souls games, so was not aware of that.

But don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t saying the locking camera would be too easy, I just figured there are some out there who might say it, so that is the only reason I brought it up. I would have no issues if Bloodborne had a locking camera, especially if you easily lose sight of your enemy if you start rolling around.

Oh hell yeah. A shame that I couldn't beat the boss in time before the alpha ended.

I think the way you side step followed by your attack needs to be tweaked. It's irritating that you're locked on to your enemy only to just miss him after you sidestep his attack.

Oooh. And speaking of, the second stress test alpha for EU players starts in 2 hours and 15 minutes and will run for the same time as the last one (3 hours).

Glitch found in alpha opening access to areas and boss not meant to be seen. Potential spoilers.
