There's a rumor that Criterion may be releasing Burn! on blu-ray. Check this article by Criterion Cast. All films mentioned in it, expect for Fellini's Satyricon and Roma, Europe Europe and Burn! have been released by Criterion. Go figure.

Are you talking about Fritz Lang's The Woman in the Window?

If so, put me down for an enthusiastic hell yes. It might be my favorite Lang (and that's obviously saying something).

Seems to me that I've heard those titles linked to Twilight Time, but at this point I can't recall if it was just a rumor or wishful thinking. It's definitely not official. Whoever does them, they'd better be seriously remastered; the MGM/UA DVDs aren't very good.

I'm not sure if all of these are still with MGM either, but would very much like to see: [some snippage involved]

Lord Love a Duck

(an old favorite)
These, at the very least, should still be with MGM.

Absolutely I'm talking about Fritz Lang I know it is such a fantastic film. Would look very nice next to my Kino Scarlet Street too! Lets hope!

The Woman in the Window is not my favorite Fritz Lang, but it's up there near the top. I always assumed that Kino would tackle this one, and I'd love to see them do so. The streaming presentation that I saw on Amazon a while back looks great.

That's obviously a price mistake, since $11.99 is what the DVDs are listed at. Maybe they'll honor it, but even if they don't, $16.99 is about $5 cheaper than Amazon's lowest price and $9 cheaper than their current price. I'm seriously considering cancelling my Amazon pre-orders of Marty and WFTP and ordering from Family Video to save a few bucks, but I can't remember if I've ordered from them before or how satisfied I was with the experience.

I ordered Persona from Family Video and they never shipped it. I was granted a full refund. I'm done with them.

Oh yeah it is a total pricing error but take advantage of it I say. I think they will honor it because they charge upfront and not at the time of shipping, I have already been charged so I doubt they will try to take more money off my card in July. But even so your right, much cheaper. I had all 4 July titles pre-ordered through Amazon's initial price clocking in at $90 bucks but cancelled since all four from family video plus 2 more blu-rays only came to $100. I like how they ship as they become available too and don't hold titles.

It's really too bad that Kino couldn't include These Three on the release of The Children's Hour. But given that Warner undoubtedly holds the rights to it as part of the Goldwyn catalog...

Is one of you know if the German movie Im Juli. (In July) is owned by Kino Lorber?

The DVD edition was released by Koch Lorber Films in 2004 but I don't know if Koch Lorber is the same company as Kino Korber...
