Maybe if you make a rule for yourself to only stick to clones then you could get into the 1/6 line. But once you break that rule and get something thats not clone related you have opened the 1/6 flood gates and there will be no stopping it lol.

I agree with this statement as that has been my problem currently.

It is quite affordable to collect just the clones as they are cheaper compared to the Marvel or DC collectibles.

Yeah, I was just interested in the 501st guys, but you're right. I can see myself expanding into other areas, and eventually, getting more than I can handle.

I'm staying away from the 1/6 lines (although I'm making an exception for the QM Firefly figures as I don't like the first Malcolm Reynolds statue they have up for order).

I agree. While I think some of the 1/6 releases are done quite well, I'm more of a statue guy.

I'm encouraged by the news of the Hellfire White Queen, as that was in Lou's SS list from last year. So perhaps other entries on that list might see the light of day!

Good to see SS is finally getting a Flash figure out. I know a lot of people have been craving a Flash PF, hopefully thats not going to be too far behind.

I never liked mini busts until GG did the Walking Dead Line but I do agree they are awesome, I love the raccoon stuff. Koto has a Art FX coming out in I think Sept and I really hope they open this pre order up to the public.

Lobo's up for pre-order. $579.99 is about what I expected. HOWEVER, they want another $134.99 for the dog!

Lobo looks cool, no doubt about it. I'll say the same thing I say about collecting steelbooks: With so much product out there, I can pass on this knowing that something better will be coming up, down the road.

I just wish SS would do more 1/6 scale statues. Lobo, at almost 30" in height, is just too big, IMO. It is tempting, but over $700 for the pair...well I'm not that much of a Lobo fan.

I have not heard anything yet, at least, from Sideshow, but I would think if a Smaug statue were ever to rear it's head SDCC '14 would be the place to announce it.

Lobo looks awesome, Funko released a few more pictures of their SDCC stuff which you can't preorder, You have to pick it up at the show or at the Funko party.

I think Gemini Collectibles gets all of the Funko exclusives and puts them up for sale during comic-con so keep an eye on their site if there's anything you're looking for.
