Same here, also because I didn't want to miss the slipcase .

I'd only be ordering season 2 for the slip, which doesn't sound anything like guaranteed. Too much of a gamble so I'll leave it, cheers

My Seasons 2-6 of TNG all had slips, as did all 3 of TOS and all 4 of Enterprise.

Received my copy's of Season's 3, 4 and 6 today with slips!! Very happy. Waiting on Season 5 at the mo, not being dispatched for a few days and if it's because they have run out of stock I got a feeling it won't have a slipcover. Finger's crossed.

I tested out an order for Season 2 - said it would take a couple of weeks before being despatched. Doesn't sound too promising for a slip. Going to leave it.

got ENT S2 several month ago from sainsbury's firesale and it has a slip(it's outside the shrinkwrap like alot of other BDs), then in July when amazon lowered the price for TNG S3, I ordered it through flubit, but it actually came/supplied from amazon, and it has a slip which surprisingly was sealed inside the shrinkwrap, which is great as the shrinkwrap protects the slip from wear & tear much better(& maybe stops people nicking them), so I thought/hoped all TNG BDs (unlike ENT BDs) will have the slips sealed inside the shrinkwrap. But looking at Maverick's pic, all his TNG BDs(like ENT ones) have slips outside the seal, I wonder if there were different batchs of BDs? anybody received their Trek BDs with the slipcase sealed inside the shrinkwrap?

Never, not for TNG nor ENT. Every slip has been outside the shrinkwrap. (And that's true of slips in general, e.g. I've just ordered three movies in the amazon 3 for £17, each one came sealed with a slip on the outside.)

Are the ratings printed directly on the slips, or are they removable stickers?

Sony wrap their slips, FOX sometimes do. Optimum and Icon do as well but it's not always a sure thing. If a Star Trek BD turns up slipped and wrapped I'd assume it was a reseal. Best of Both Worlds was an exception as it had a clear slip and a normal slip underneath.

They're just normal slips so the ratings are part of the design and not removable as far as I know!

Printed as are all UK slips.
99% of standard UK releases will come with at least 3 logos on front spine and back, with most these days with 6 (3 BBFC + 3 IFCO, ie UK & Ireland).
A few of the exceptions; steelbooks/digibooks where they will often have it printed on card slip, rating exempt titles (for obvious reasons), boxsets will often come with outer sleeve with ratings but boxes inside not.

Really though, if you are thinking about importing UK titles, you need to just get over the ratings. The disc content is often identical, and pricing well, for US (and all international, non-EU ?) customers on Amazon UK they seem to get a permanent 20% discount due to not having to pay VAT...

Amazon have lowered the price of seasons one and two. Almost £7-8 cheaper if you ordered the 2 like I did. I'll email them tomorrow and ask if they'll refund the difference. The other seasons have gone up in price. No biggie if they tell me to get lost but it's worth a PM!
