Does the German version of Fright Night and Christine include any extra features?

Nothing, unless you consider the original trailer an extra.

I feel cheapened now. I bought it the first time, knowing it was a limited release. Now they're printing more? That's lame.

But congrats to those who get a second chance at grabbing one.

P.S. I get to see this in theaters next week! Excited for that.

Why do they make it limited for Fright Night when its a classic that everyone wants.

I missed out the first time around but agree it sucks for anybody who did get it the first time thinking they were one of 3,000. Almost never about the customer just about the money.

Honestly, to fully understand the reasoning behind this decision, I suggest you take a look at the other Twilight Time Fright Night thread.
Grab a couple cocktails and a handful of Excedrin and start at page 1 and prepare for a rollercoaster ride through the next 100 pages of Limited Edition madness!

"Artwork not final, subject to change".

I hope not. I love that iconic Fright Night artwork. Maybe they will use the red/orange title, as seen on the German release.

I am positive this will be 5k. I guess it's time to sell my autographed edition.

3,000 is the break even point for them. Anymore pressings and they dip into profits for both them & Sony.

Twilight Time has re-evaluated this choice and in the case of The Blob, they were able to do 5,000 pressings without a significant hit to cost & profits.

The reason they are re-visiting some titles, yes, some, is because Sony has realized titles they anticipated would not move well on Blu-ray (based on DVD sales) are actually in demand. So Twilight Time signed another distribution license for 3,000 more pressings.

I wonder if the second round also sells like gangbusters, would Twilight Time do another 3,000 pressings. I guess at that point, Sony going to have to eat it and release it themselves or through Mill Creek.

I honestly don't care about how those people feel. They're either in one of two camps, someone who really likes the film and is happy to be able to own it and watch it whenever they want, or someone who hopes to make a profit by re-selling it to someone else who falls into the first camp in which case, thems the breaks.

there is a third camp.. the collector mentality... they only reason they justified the expense because it was limited and "elite"...
