So this is coming out next month limited to 200 copies? It's up for pre-order over at Amazon.

Yeah, it's already been available as a re-issue direct from Sub Rosa for quite some time now.

Is this their second or third re-issue I've lost count

The only "real" film in their questionable catalogue.

Still available, is it worth a blind buy?

Did they really have to use a new cover for this new release? I like the old limited edition art a lot better.

Is it worth blind buying if I love the hell out of Killing Spree?

I love Killing Spree too, but I don't know if I'd really recommend this one as a blind buy. It's enjoyable, but Day of the Reaper just doesn't have that same offbeat comedic edge to it.

If you're expecting a proto-Killing Spree or something...you'll probably be disappointed.

I love it so much I bought the blu and LP. Which to me is hilarious all in itself. Thanks for the input. Maybe I'll find a way to watch it before I buy, if I do.

Passing as well. They have an intersting business model niche though. Some titles can be bought on blu, dvd, and vhs. Even saw some official props from a few of the movies in the web store.

Killing Spree isn't burned. Not sure if this one is, maybe not. I only say maybe because it doesn't say on their site and most of their releases say BD-R in the description.

That is true Killing Spree I think is the only one that isn't. The print runs are too small to be pressed blu's.

I have a huge Killing Spree collection too:

Killing Spree Blu-ray/DVD Combo
Killing Spree "Director's Workprint Cut" VHS + DVD-R Clamshell (#51 of 50 ... yep #51)
Killing Spree DVD (Subrosa)
Killing Spree DVD (Camp Motion Pictures)
Killing Spree VHS (original)
Killing Spree Soundtrack LP + T-SHIRT
The Killing Spree: Script, PR & Images from the Cult Classic Movie BOOK

... the one thing I do still need to find is the Killing Spree "Lego" figure!

You'd probably like Day of the Reaper, but it just isn't nearly on a comparable level as Killing Spree. The Tim Ritter audio commentary is gold though.

Nice, I don't have that much. Just 2 different DVDs, the blu, and the LP. Proboly will get the book.
