Got despatched email also! I hope this is full gloss with some nice embossing. I can't wait to see this in hand. I think this will be a nice matching set. I wish they would release On Stranger Tides though to match. C'mon Zavvi!

Well, there goes the theory that sold out copies (of the first film, in this case) would pop up again before the others in the series started shipping. I'm still looking for the first film. Maybe ebay will be my savior

Yes! One can only hope that it happens.

These appeared to be good sellers for Zavvi, so maybe that will prompt them to look into doing the 4th release?

Really hope so, although maybe we've jumped the gun as this franchise isn't done and no doubt there will be a future steel set. Same could be said for Jurassic park and fast and furious. We are suckers!

That's why I only usually buy the first steelbook edition in a franchise and then either buy the amaray box set or individual standard releases. Saves a bucket load and I still have the original movie as a steelbook collectable.

Buying a complete franchise of films in steelbook form seems a waste to me.

got part 2 and 3 today and they look really nice.

The same disney HQ gloss with embossing...

the the best thing is...all 3 steels are the 2 blu version (1 for film + extras & 1 for loads more extras.

i initially got these in 2 disc sets on Amaray and now they only sell the single disc variants even in the boxset so its nice to see them using 2 disc's for the steels.

Quite impressed with this steel after unwrapping it.
Matches the other two very well.
Just the title and skull and swords embossed. The picture within the border gloss, the picture on the back gloss.
