Some of my favorites
Chungking Express [Show spoiler] Something Wild [Show spoiler] Slumdog Millionaire [Show spoiler] 10 Things I Hate About You [Show spoiler] Breakfast at Tiffany's [Show spoiler] Whenever a romantic scene has that one line or gesture that makes me cry, it'll probably become a favorite movie of mine. |

The end of An Officer and A Gentleman is great. When Richard Gere walks through the factory and all the women in the factory are wondering what's going on as he walks up behind Debra Winger, she turns around, he gives her a kiss, scoops her up and carries her out to the ladies cheering and neither of them say a word.

-James Stewart embracing Kim Novak for the first time in Vertigo, and then finally kissing her again after she has transformed back into Madeleine
-related: the final scene of Bell, Book and Candle, when James Stewart realizes that Kim Novak is crying (and that she therefore actually loves him) -the kiss in Witness, with the camera doing 360s around Ford and McGillis as they kiss endlessly -the final scene of Sleeping Beauty, with Aurora and Phillip dancing as her dress changes color from pink, to blue, to pink, to blue, to pink... -Daniel Day Lewis and Madeleine Stowe embracing by firelight at the besieged fort in Last of the Mohicans -the final shot of TDKR, with the reveal of Bruce and Selina together -Ronald Colman just before he goes to his death for his beloved Elizabeth Allan in Tale of Two Cities -in The Mark of Zorro (1940), Linda Darnell tenderly picking up Don Diego's rose, after she discovers that he is Zorro (a rose that she had previously crushed when he gave it to her, then thinking that he was just a fop) And of course: Last edited by karsten; 02-28-2020 at 05:34 AM. |

Meet Joe Black
[Show spoiler] I love making love to you. It was like making love to someone making love for the first time. ![]() Thomas Newman's score is also amazing. I feel like this is an underrated movie. It's pretty magical all around. |
