My most wanted title of Duke are:

1) McQ

2) The Shootist

3) The Sons of Katie Elder

I´m quite dissappointed that "Cahill-U.S. Marshal" got only 3/5 points while "The Train Robbers" got a better review.

I wish Warner would treated "Cahill" as good as "The Train Robbers"

I was about to say they needed to release The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance when I found out it had a UK BD. And region free, woo!

Supposedly The Alamo is on the way. But don't expect anything besides a minimal restoration of the DVD version. The Original film elements are far too deteriorated and the powers that be refuse to lay out the cash to save it.

EDIT:
And since I so often request sources from others, here's my source.

Finally, a bit of disappointing news: Our sources have informed us that MGM may be quietly putting together a new Blu-ray release of John Wayne’s The Alamo. However, this is a restoration meant for Blu-ray only – it’s not being done properly or with an eye toward preserving the film for future generations. So the quality is going to be makeshift at best. Here’s a bit of a recent update from our old friend and restoration legend Robert A. Harris on the status of the film (posted on The Home Theater Forum on 3/1):

Seems to be a delay from Amazon.ca sending these titles. No worries as my com order from last week arrived. Still wanted those 2 JWs for the weekend.

I don't understand why they are sometimes late in sending them out hopefully you will get yours today.

Got that one, too. But I just lost another cart item to that "Only For Prime" BS. Hard to put together orders when they keep taking things away ...

But they can't match the VUDU code if WM has added it - which they often do even with their $7.88 Blu-Bin stuff. I was over that way earlier but didn't have time to stop in. Maybe tomorrow if someone doesn't check & post first.

No doubt an early Father's Day sale. I wonder what else might be reduced between now and then?
