Hideous cover. It reminds me of something I'd never buy.

Movie made me sad, not that the movie was so good, it moved me to sadness, just kinda wanted to strangle whomever was most directly responsible for it, but I'll probably grab the steelbook anyway.

Every time I see this thread bumped it makes me sad that we're not discussing the 1974 version instead of this dud.

I have a weekness for Target Exclusive SteelBooks, love them. Target is my favorite US retailer, best buy 2nd, and Wally Ghetto Mart is 3rd.

Soooooo..... Best believe my ass is goin to be bright and early at Target right when they open tomorrow. I'll go for my minimum of 2 copies, one to open, and one to keep sealed. Maybe snag a third copy as a gift. Generally, I really enjoy Wallybergs films except for Transformers, so I. Sure I will get something out of this, after all he's a great actor and he really prepared for this film and gave it a good effort so I'm sure it will be a decent watch.

Wasn't a very popular movie, critically or commercially. I am curious to know how many of these people are seeing in stores, though; just wanna know how many ended up getting produced for this movie, I'm still really surprised it even got a Steelbook...

I can't go until 12:20pm central time. I'm hoping my store will have some.

There were about 10 of these this morning, all in one row of the new release section in electronics. They didn't have any up front, just Paddingtons.

Did you buy a steel? Did it ring up $14.99 or $19.99?

It rang up $19.99. The Cartwheel didn't work either, as expected.

I didn't buy one for myself, but I picked up a couple for other members.

I missed the last two Steels (this and Batman vs. Robin). I might just check and see later down the line for these. Didn't see this movie and it looked alright.

*crickets chirping*

This is seriously the most quiet I've ever seen a thread on a steelbook release day. It's...weird. I'm super bored at work. Just watching the minutes tick until I can leave for lunch to go grab this.

I am curious about it, is it gloss? Embossed? Inside art?

Someone posted a pic in the slipcover forum which might give you at least slightly more of an idea. Still hard to tell the details though

EDIT: someone just posted another pic

This is one of the reasons I'm not in a hurry to pick this up. I might even pass. I can find something better to spend my money on.

Edit: After seeing the pics posted right above my post, I'm definitely going to pass.
