What's the benefit of buying this over the Canadian blu-ray release?

I assume the commentary will only be subtitled in Korean for this release.

Edit: Just watched the DE disc. (B-locked and no EN subs, for those who rip their discs, fitting subs 'll be online soon )

PQ was alright I thought. French disc might look better though, features 30% higher bitrate
French is better than which one? Canadian or DE?

I randomly had this movie recommended to me at work today. Is the Amazon listing this site links to the digipack? It looks like a standard Blu-ray case on the product page. The digipack looks more appealing to me, but I don't know if they've since discontinued that packaging in favor of a more standard case.

I can't say for sure, but that company has apparently done first pressings with digipacks and later pressings with plastic cases before. My copy of his next film, It's Only the End of the World, was the second pressing, in a plastic case. My copy of this film is a digipack.

I bought that same listing back in 2017 and it came as a digipack, not the regular plastic case shown. Might be a toss-up at this point though.

I took the gamble. It still comes as a digipack.

I wasn't sure where to post this but Xavier Dolan is apparently quitting filmmaking.
