What did you guys think of Marton Csokas as the villain in the first one?

I like him. The first time I saw him I think was in The Bourne Supremacy but I didn't pay all that much attention to him. How do you think he would do as a Bond villain? Speaking of villains, I want to see August Diehl (Gestapo officer in Operation Kino scene of IB) get more American roles. Was happy to see him in Allied even though it was a small role.

Look forward to seeing The Equalizer 2. I'll probably watch it in 2024.

Martin Csokas was fantastic in the first movie but then he's fantastic in everything he's in. He's like Jason Isaacs, always amazing and always underrated.

Csokas would be a great Bond villain but he already did the villain thing in Bond ripoff XXX.

What is the XXX one? Hmm, was he in the first one with Vin?

Levcore mentioned Jason Isaacs. His performance in The Patriot really made an impression on me. He was such a dastardly bastard!

Yeah he was the main villain in the first XXX movie with Vin Diesel. He was definitely a highlight of the movie. He's very versatile and does accents well. I agree about Isaacs in The Patriot. Can you imagine Isaacs as a Bond villain? That would be great.

The first one was a good action film but had absolutely nothing to do with the classic 80s show. Will likely skip a sequel as it's unnecessary.

Do it right or just don't bother.

It might be just me but these Equalizer movies don't feel like The Equalizer that I grew up on. This looks more like a Bourne rip-off than anything else.
